Bio:

My main interest in life is studying, reading about, and experiencing all things concerning King Arthur, his legend, the stories of his knights, and the materials leading back to a possibly historical Arthur. Mainly, I just love the reading the stories themselves however, and I enjoy the lessons that the legends (some of which approach one thousand years old and more) still have to teach us in this modern world. I do tend to focus my non-Arthurian reading on medieval themed romances, and I enjoy reading in Middle English. I'm also going to make an attempt at learning Old French, so I can read some of my favorite romances and poetry in the original language.

I am also a jet ski fanatic, and I ride at the Lake of the Ozarks when I can get down there. I just love lake life and getting away to enjoy the scenery. There is just something about the water that relaxes me. Plus, jumping the wake of a huge ocean cruiser (there are a lot of them there, and they are not built for a small lake channel) kind of makes you realize you are alive. ;)

I work in an office for a large insurance company, I'm 33 years old, and single. Not much to say in that regard. :)

I like to work out and try to stay in shape. I used to do Muay Thai and some grappling. Right now I just have a bag to do my kickboxing thing with, and maybe some day I'll get back to doing the real thing. I do enjoy watching mixed martial arts, such as UFC and Pride.

As for movies/tv, I am an old school Star Wars fan and saw the first movie when it came out in the theater. I was about four- or something to that effect. Since then, I've never stopped loving those movies. I also enjoy the Lord of the Rings movies and books quite a bit. There is nothing better than a good British comedy- Monty Python, Blackadder, The Young Ones, and Fawlty Towers are my favorites. Also, the new version of Battlestar Galactica is the best show on TV. You must watch it. :)

The most important thing, however, is that I am a Christian, and I'm working toward trying to give myself more fully to God. I'm hoping to one of these days start getting into volunteer work, or however I can be used. One of these days I'll figure out what it is I'm supposed to be doing. :)
